Work
Inspiration/Description:

The works of Micheal Kenna, Alejandro Cartagena, and Frank Relle

To reach the core of my passion within photography through night landscapes in and around Washington, DC. Finding out what pushes me beyond the image and into the meaning behind it within myself.

Vision in the Darkness

The night allows me to be the person I cannot be during the day. I am a ghost. Moving from place to place forces me to become an alter ego of my original self. Welcoming the darkness and blending into it separates me. The images encompass the unseen details that most people bypass without a second thought, but that seize my attention and hold it resolute. It is through the simple process of photographing that I become hidden, detaching myself from the hustle of daytime life. Having no destination or plan, it is not where I am or where I am going that holds significance, but rather it is the wandering.

Future Aspirations:

Return back to NYC and intern for various fashion and corporate photographers in the field as well as a local newspaper if possible. Though photography is my passion, it is not the only thing I plan to do, I’d also like to work as a carpenter or a job in construction.
